Welcome

The unique ensemble of the two historical landmarks in the heart of the City of Lucerne, the Chapel Bridge and Water Tower are to be artistically staged. To that end, an international idea competition was conducted.

43 teams from Switzerland and many other parts of the world participated in the prequalification process. From these, the jury chose nine teams to further develop their ideas in the idea competition.

The winner of the competition is the project DER PARTIKEL PLAN (“the particle plan”). A collaboration between the Dutch Studios Drift (Amsterdam), DUS (Amsterdam), Digiluce (Utrecht) and Buro Rombout (Eindhoven, NL), the project group is headed by Rombout Frieling (Eindhoven, Netherlands).
